Tension Fabric Displays

The Tension Fabric Displays category has become one of the largest since there are so many different styles of these popular fabric trade show displays. It's hard to contain all of these styles into one category, so we have broken them out into different subcategories, which are Pop Up Fabric Displays, Pillowcase Fabric Displays, Silicone Edge Graphic Displays, and Adjustable Tension Fabric Displays. Even though there are very different displays in this category, what they all have in common is fabric graphics. Most of these displays use a dye sublimated stretch fabric, which is extremely durable with vibrant colors. Dye sublimation is a printing process in which the inks become part of the fabric, so they can't be scratched or washed off. These fabrics are wrinkle resistant, light weight and washable which is part of the reason they are so popular.

Tension fabric displays all have some kind of frame system that the graphics are attached to. In some cases, the frame is made of aluminum tubing and the graphics are made like a pillowcase with a zipper that stretches over the frame. In other cases, the fabric has velcro sewn into the perimeter that attaches to velcro on the frame itself. Another popular style are silicone edge graphics, or SEG graphics, which have a strip of silicone sewn into the perimeter of the fabric. The SEG frames have a channel that accepts the silicone edge, and when the edge is inserted into the channel of the frame, the graphic is pulled tight and smooth.

Pop up style tension fabric displays, such as the HopUp, are popular because they are so quick and easy to set up. With this type of display, the fabric stays attached to the display between uses, so expanding the frame is all that's required to set up the display. It's also possible to remove the graphics between uses, which can help keep it from needing to be steamed, but most people choose to leave the graphics attached since that's the biggest appeal of these particular trade show displays. Embrace displays are a cross between a Hopup style pop up fabric display and a Silicone Edge Fabric Display. It has a pop up frame like the Hopup, and channel bars that accept SEG graphics attach the frame for the best of both styles.

Fabric displays that hold pillowcase style graphics are among the most interesting. These tube frame displays often have curves and interesting shapes that couldn't be created without stretch fabric graphics. The frames are typically easy to assemble with push button connections between the tube sections, and they are also lightweight and easy to transport. This style of display is the least likely to show wrinkles, since the fabric is pulled tight and even across the frame, smoothing out any wrinkles to they are less noticeable.

Trade show displays for silicone edge graphics, or push fit graphics, come in a wide range of configurations. While this style is easy to assemble, they typically take more time to set up than the other styles. One of the most interesting variations for this style of trade show display is backlighting. Edge lit backlit sections are part of some of the configurations, and others are available with the entire display backlit. This can make for a very eye catching display that is sure to get noticed, so it's a popular option in fabric displays.

With all of this variety, it can be a little overwhelming to look through all the options.
